Our Story

It All Started With Tablet

Ever since we started making Tablet in lock-down, selling it from a little box at the side of the road, our little business has gone from strength to strength.

Glenshee Ski Centre were so kind and wanted to stock our Tablet in their cafes, then Visit Scotland.  We then were asked to make Traybakes, and then we ended up somehow with our vintage horsebox's, lucky enough to sell Mackie's Ice Cream, along with all our other sweet treats!

Our little side of the road honesty box grew and grew, and ended up selling much more than the sweet stuff. We wanted it to feel like a little magical experience for the kids, and it turns out, the adults feel this too!

We have since built two customised Bake Kitchens, and now operate from our larger one, at our home, with our own in-house baker.

We are so thankful to have grown this little business the way it has, it not only allows us to continue to work from home, looking after all our sheep, geese, rescue hens, guinea fowl and our beautiful Clydesdale, but also spend our time as a family.  We home educate our two little boys, so having this time is so important to us, we know how lucky we are to spend every day like this.

The support we get is just unbelievable, and we so appreciate all the messages and kindness we receive, it means the world to us!
